Cerebral Palsy/Medically Complex Clinic

Cerebral Palsy/Medically Complex Clinic

Families caring for children with medical complexity face unique challenges. The aim of our multidisciplinary approach in the cerebral palsy/medically complex children's clinic is to engage with these families at all levels. The medical input, although important, does not achieve its purpose without care coordination and effective communication between all the different stakeholders. We focus on these aspects to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. We have established relationships with several pediatric subspecialists, and this allows us to engage with them as required for more specific needs. We view the primary care providers as being central to the patient's care and consider this partnership vital in achieving success for the patient. For more information, see our brochure.
