Downloading Images
There are a variety of formats in which to save an image. The only way to check if your software supports an image format is to insert it into a web page or document and see if it works. If you plan to use an image in a slide or PowerPoint, you’ll probably want to use a .jpg or .gif. These images, if sent to a printer, will not be a high-quality image. If you plan to print an image, you can use different formats that are of a higher resolution.

We’ve made a variety of standard images available for download. If you don’t find what you need, please contact University Relations at (316) 293-2643 or wicur@kumc.edu.

To download and use the images of your choice, simply follow these steps:
1. Click on the image type of your choice to see the file at its actual size.
2. Once you find the file you want, right click on the image and choose "save file as."
3. Save the file to your computer.
