Clinical Experience

Our program provides the residents with a wide range of clinical experiences. The volume of operative experience is excellent and easily exceeds the minimum requirements as determined by the Residency Review Committee for Surgery. There are no competing surgical fellowships in Wichita.

Surgeon - as chief resident	266 cases
Surgeon - as junior resident	837 cases
Surgeon - 1st year resident	146 cases
Total	1249 cases
First assistant	314 cases
Endoscopy	256 cases
Laparoscopy - Basic & Complex	213 cases
