Peer Teaching Assessment

The Process

  1. Contact the Director of Postgraduate Education to schedule the session you wish to have observed.
  2. Peer reviewer will attend session and observe teaching methods utilized.
  3. Peer reviewer will schedule an individualized session of at least 30 minutes in length to provide feedback within two days of the session observed.
  4. A copy of the feedback instrument and notes will be given to you, with an anonymous copy sent to the Director of Postgraduate Education to compile and analyze institutional data. This data will be utilized to identify institutional needs in faculty development. All data will be confidential and your name will be removed from any copies retained.
  5. Individual data is the property of the faculty member and will not be distributed by the reviewer or Postgraduate Education. Each faculty member will determine how (or if) they share the feedback with others.
