What
is the Earl L. Mills Clinical Skills Lab?
Originally
made possible by the Primary Care Physician Education grant, the
Earl
L. Mills Clinical Skills Lab is equipped with training
models, mannequins and biomedical equipment. Faculty can assist learners
in practicing procedures and mastering physical diagnostic skills.
Since
the Lab opened in March 1999, the Earl L. Mills Educational Trust
has contributed funds to purchase realistic clinical simulators for
use in training students, residents and practicing physicians.
The
lab is located in Academic and Student Affairs, where students
and faculty can utilize equipment on site or check out items for
use in classrooms and clinical settings.
