John Lohnes, MD, DABR As President of the Wichita Radiological Group, P.A. we have attempted to recruit individuals who have top-notch clinical skills as well as a commitment to the Residency program. I believe that we have done so, with a faculty that is well respected, as evidenced by having several boards examiners and published authors in our group. This results in an environment where a radiology apprenticeship has developed that will let a graduate step into a successful practice or fellowship, confident in their skills. The Wichita Radiological Group is committed to ensuring that he residency has access to all of our activities, both in and out of the main hospital setting, thus significantly expanding the clinical basis for the residency Through my involvement in the Kansas Radiological Society (president, 2005), The American College of Radiology and various insurers liaison committees the residents also get an overview of the politics of medicine, the issues about reimbursement and potential strategies to strengthen their future practices. |
