Dr. Debra Ann Desilet-Dobbs has been in practice here at Wesley Medical Center since of July of 1997 and the Head of the Pediatric Radiology Section since 1998.  Dr. Dobbs is the only Pediatric Radiologist in the Wichita metropolitan area.  She obtained her CAQ in Pediatric Radiology in 1998 and recently recertified through 2018.

Wesley Medical Center is a major tertiary referral center for the state of Kansas.  There is no children’s hospital in the state of Kansas.  Many children are referred into the hospital as a tertiary care center.  Wesley has an NICU with approximately 38 level 3 beds and an additional 28 level 2 NICU beds.  There is a 12 bed PICU and approximately 43 bed general pediatric floor.  The hospital also has an additional 10 bed pediatric sedation unit.

Residents rotate through the pediatric section performing fluoroscopic procedures, reading plain film exams, as well as interpreting ultrasound, CT, MR and occasionally pediatric Nuclear Medicine.
