Biosketch

Traci A. Hart, Teaching Associate in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, is a human factors psychologist. She has worked with many community organizations to develop and maintain health information databases, and conduct research. Hart is currently pursuing her PhD in Human Factors Psychology where she is evaluating the user characteristics of consumers with personal health records and the impact of health information technology on patient care and costs. During her training, Hart has investigated website usability, functional fitness and health limitations of retired adults, medical device technology in retirement centers, and technology training for older adults.
