Biosketch

Monica Fisher, DDS, MS, MPH, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of Dental Public Health Research in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita.  Dr. Fisher is an epidemiologist committed to interdisciplinary quantitative epidemiologic research in the areas of chronic kidney disease, periodontal disease, diabetes, heart disease, health disparities, health outcomes, lifestyle factors, treatment effectiveness and evidence based practice.  Dr. Fisher is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
