The
following is important information regarding new accounts, password
changes, and lost passwords. Contact the Wichita Help Desk with any
questions or problems (316-293-2605 option 1, or e-mail techsupp@kumc.edu)
Network, GroupWise, Dial-Up Account
Requests:
These accounts provide access to appropriate data files and
applications on the Wichita network along with GroupWise e-mail.
Select a link below to request a new network account for one of the
following user categories:
Faculty/staff (including temporaries, part-time,
and student assistants)
Medical student/resident/intern/fellow
Terminating employee accounts

Forget Your
Password?
Wichita Help Desk staff will be pleased to handle password change
requests made in one of the following ways:
Requests may be
made in person at the Wichita Help Desk (Room B001) from 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Photo identification is
required.
Requests may be
faxed to the Wichita Help Desk at 316-293-1888 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday-Friday. The fax must include new password, photo
identification and signature. Night, weekend, and holiday requests
will be handled the next business day.
Note: A network
manager must approve any password change requested by a user's
supervisor. Confirmation will be sent to user when a password
change is completed at the request of a supervisor.
