Scheduling and Attending Appointments
Office visits are by appointment. We strive to stay on schedule and appreciate your help with this however, children sometimes arrive very ill or have unexpected problems that require extra time. When this occurs, our staff will let you know in case you'd like to reschedule. We appreciate your understanding when this happens.
When your child is ill, please call as early in the day as possible. Because we have a team of healthcare partners, sick visits are almost always scheduled the same day.
Please allow time for registration by arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. In addition, please provide the following items:
On your first visit, we require a parent or guardian to accompany the child. We will ask you to provide names of other family members or friends to whom you give permission to accompany the child in the future. By Kansas law, teenagers aged 16 and older may obtain health care unaccompanied by a parent or guardian, however, certain types of care may require a parent to be present, such as immunizations.
Cancelling or Missing an Appointment
When it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. We understand emergencies arise, and you may run late for your child's appointment or fail to cancel. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may ask to reschedule your appointment.
