Consumer Advisory Board
A key component of the HIV program is the input gained from patients and their families through the Consumer Advisory Board. The Board is made up of individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The Board provides patient insight and guidance for program and clinical processes, and has assisted in the development of patient satisfaction surveys that provide invaluable information regarding statewide needs assessment data. Members of the Board also help with fundraising and outreach efforts. Anyone interested in becoming involved as a Board member, please call the HIV program administrative coordinator at 316-293-3405.
