Interview Information

Applicant Interview Format

Interviews are scheduled during the months of November through January by invitation only. A typical itinerary includes most or all of the following:

• Dinner with Resident the evening before scheduled interview
• Breakfast with Resident
• Attend Morning Teaching Conference (either peds or IM conference)
• Interview with a resident and tour of a hospital facility.
• Interview with a Chief Resident
• Interview with the Program Director and/or Associate Program Directors.
• Interview with Department Chairman.
• Attend Grand Rounds luncheon or have lunch with one or two Med/Peds Residents.

Interviews are generally completed by 3:30 p.m.  Lodging can be arranged for out of state applicants upon request at no charge.
