While offering quality care, Justin Moore, M.D., medical director at KU Wichita Endocrinology, and his team take every opportunity to offer learning opportunities to help patients manage their health while providing accessible, personal and comprehensive care. KU Wichita Endocrinology patients have access to a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator for individual assessment and support.

Dr. Moore is board certified in adult endocrinology and internal medicine, and his advanced training includes a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He teaches at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita as an assistant professor in Internal Medicine.

KU Wichita Endocrinology offers comprehensive hormonal and metabolic care over a wide spectrum that includes:

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Clinic

At KU Wichita Endocrinology, Rami Mortada, M.D., directs the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Clinic and sees patients with hormonal and endocrine disorders including:

• Thyroid diseases and FNA               • Adrenal and pituitary disorders
• Diabetes                                           • Dyslipidemia
• Hypogonadism                                 • Osteoporosis

Dr. Mortada is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. After he earned his doctor of medicine degree from Lebanese University, he completed his internal medicine residency at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita and his fellowship training at the University of California-Davis.

The PCOS Clinic at KU Wichita Endocrinology offers a comprehensive approach to patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Dr. Mortada, along with a team of dieticians, psychologists, and support groups, creates individualized treatment plans for patients. He also conducts specialized PCOS research, and patients will have an opportunity to participate.
