Directions to University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita
KUSM-W is located at 1010 N. Kansas, which is off of I-135 at the 8th/9th street exit (Exit #7B). The campus is just west of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Health Department at the intersection of Kansas Ave. and Minneapolis Ave.
Arriving at KUSM-W
From the North:
Traveling Southbound on I-135. Exit at the #7B exit ramp. Turn left at stop
sign, on 9th street. Go east to Minnesota, turn left , and immediately turn
left in front of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Health Department Building,
(9th Street Dr.). Continue west on 9th Street towards KUSM-W’s visitor
parking which is located on the south side of the KUSM-W building.
From the South:
Traveling Northbound on I-135. Exit at #7B exit ramp. Turn right at stop sign,
proceed east to Minnesota, turn left and immediately turn left again in front
of the Sedgwick County Health Department Building, (9th Street Dr.). Continue
west on 9th Street towards KUSM-W’s visitor parking which is located
on the south side of the KUSM-W building.
From the East:
Traveling Westbound on Kellogg (H-54 / US-400). Take I-135 North exit/US-81
North, going towards Salina. Exit at the #7B exit ramp. Turn right at the
stop sign, proceed east to Minnesota, turn left and immediately turn left
again in front of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Health Department, (9th Street
Dr.). Continue west on 9th Street towards KUSM-W’s visitor parking
which is located on the south side of the KUSM-W building.
From the West:
Traveling Eastbound on Kellogg (H-54 / US-400). Take I-135 North / US-81 North
going towards Salina. Exit at the #7B exit ramp. Turn right at the stop sign,
proceed east to Minnesota, turn left and immediately turn left again in front
of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Health Department, (9th Street Dr.). Continue
west on 9th Street Dr. towards KUSM-W’s visitor parking which is located
on the south side of the KUSM-W building.

* Indicates Farha Medical Library located on the 1st floor, just west of the main entrance.
Enter building where arrow shows School Entrance. Once inside the building, go left and walk through the Esplanade and you will arrive at the George J. Farha Medical Library.
** Indicates the Wichita-Sedgwick County Health Department building, which is located just directly east of the KUSM-Wichita.
