Professional Development Opportunities- KUSM-W provides a variety of learning opportunities and educational sessions for all staff. Examples of learning sessions include leadership development and computer skills training.
Park Elementary- Staff can get involved in many ways with a local elementary school.
Ambassador Program- An informal avenue for new employees to become successfully integrated to KUSM-W through the building of relationships with existing employees who support and assist them during their transition to KUSM-W.
Gold Star Program- An employee referral program that allows employees to refer anyone they see doing a “great job” for employment at KUSM-W. Any applicant referred for employment through the Gold Star Program is guaranteed an interview for a position that matches their qualifications.
KU Pride- Faculty and staff come together each month to recognize years of service and other contributions to the medical school. KU Pride is a good time to meet new employees and learn about what is happening on campus.

JayStars- Provides an opportunity to say "thanks" to employees who are doing a great job with immediate "on the spot" recognition.
Take-a-Breaks- An opportunity for staff to come together and socialize with refreshments and fun activity.
Courtyard Grills- A luncheon for faculty and staff with opportunities for networking between departments. |
