What is JayStars?
It's a "spot award' recognition program designed to acknowledge and reward employees. JayStars provides an opportunity to say "thanks" to employees who are doing a great job with immediate "on the spot" recognition. Employees may be nominated for JayStars for taking on extra duties, volunteering for special projects, contributing to the success of the University by serving on committees, or making suggestions that improve a process or allow work to be done more efficiently.
Sponsored in part through a donation from ING Aetna Financial Services, JayStars is an opportunity to show employees that their work and dedication to KUSM-W is valued and appreciated. Anyone may nominate an outstanding employee for a JayStars award.
How do I nominate someone for JayStars?
It's simple! Go on-line and complete a brief nomination form from Human Resources. HR will take it from there and work with the nominated employee's supervisor to deliver the JayStars award.
JayStars recipients will receive a gift to recognize their contributions.
Who is eligible for a JayStars award?
KUSM-W employees and employees of the MPA may be nominated for an award.
