"Why the Yellow Dog is Yellow"

Gallery East

A 10-piece historical exhibit, is now on display through Mar. 30 in the William J. Reals Gallery of Art-East at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, 1010 N. Kansas.

The exhibit is a historical presentation of photographs and narration about Sutton, who established the relationship between chromosomes and heredity. Sutton was an associate professor at the KU School of Medicine between 1911 and 1916. The exhibit is presented by the KU Medical Center Archives and the History and Philosophy of Medicine Department.

The exhibit, which is free to the public, may be viewed during regular gallery hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The exhibit is closed Saturday and Sunday.
