"A Sense of Place," 13 oil paintings by Gene Marsh, MD, will be on display June 4 - July 30, in the William J. Reals Gallery of Art-East at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. There will be a public reception June 4, 2:30 - 3:15 p.m. in the gallery area.

The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, is available during regular gallery hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The building is closed to the public Saturdays and Sundays.

The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita is nationally recognized as a pioneer in community-based medical education. Since the first class graduated in 1975, nearly 1300 physicians have earned medical degrees here. About half of these eventually established practices in the state, fulfilling KUSM-W's promise, "We Educate Doctors to Serve Kansans."
