"Mirage,"
an exhibit of 17 acrylic paintings by Virginia Mills Garrison, will be
displayed in the William J. Reals Gallery of Art - East at the University
of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, Dec. 14, 2001, through Garrison incorporates into her art her rural Kansas roots and her life experiences in Latin America. She considers art to be a process of joy and well being, and she strives for the tangible expressions of her emotions through color and design. A graduate of Kansas State University, Garrison is a member of the Kansas Art Guild and Women in the Arts. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, is available during regular gallery hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The building is closed to the public Saturdays and Sundays.
