Objectives:

As an extension of the basic clerkship, this course is designed to provide the student with additional opportunities in patient management from the perspective of the family physician in private practice.

Procedures:

The student will accompany the faculty on all rounds, manage patients in the hospital and office settings and attend relevant conferences.
Patient Contact: At least 10/day

Evaluation:

Student performance will be evaluated using the standard Elective Evaluation Form.
