
Access to agency premises by non-agency personnel.
If access by non-agency personnel is not related to official business at the school, or an unauthorized visit, individuals may be escorted from the building. Loitering, in the building, on the grounds or in the parking lots is not permitted.
Access to agency premises by off-duty employees.
All KUSM-W employees, students, residents and faculty may be issued access cards, upon request, that will allow into the building and other areas throughout the facility depending on each individuals level of access. It is the supervisors responsibility to monitor his or her staff. Inappropriate use of State materials, property or equipment may lead to progressive disciplinary action.
Permission to engage in solicitation or in distribution of literature on agency premises.
Non-employees: Allowed as guests, for a specific reason, for a specified period of time and at a specified location at the invitation of the department head with the approval of the Associate Dean for Administration.
Employee or non-employee: With the permission of the department head. Must use break time or non-working hours. No displays or distribution of materials allowed in working areas.
Use of agency meeting rooms or facilities by outside organizations.
Subject to the approval of the Dean in accordance with the established guidelines.
Non-affiliated organizations are permitted to use the facility with approval, in accordance with the established guidelines.
Use of agency telephones, mail delivery systems, newsletters and bulletin board.
No university telephone shall be used for solicitation purposes except for University related projects.
Under no circumstances are personal long distance calls allowed unless charged to a personal credit card. Should this occur, the employee would be required to make restitution. Improper use of University telephones is prohibited and progressive disciplinary action may be imposed according to State guidelines.
Use of mail delivery In accordance with established mailroom procedures. Improper use of the mailroom delivery services is prohibited and progressive disciplinary action may be imposed according to State guidelines.
Employees may post items on the bulletin boards in the lunchroom. Items should be dated and removed after 30 days.
University Relations is responsible for official bulletin boards in the school.
