Mission

The mission of Facilities Management is to provide a safe, secure, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment to all students, employees, patients, medical staff and public visitors at the Campus of the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. We accomplish this by using our valued employees in a partnership with our customers and suppliers to provide the most affordable blend of technology and responsiveness.

Vision and Values

Facilities Management strategically aligns both physical and financial resources with the mission and vision of the organization, and plays a key role in providing a facility that promotes excellence in education. The Facilities Management Department is responsible for utilizing funding appropriately and application of those funds based on our mission and strategic direction. Additionally, each associate of the Facilities Management department plays a vital role in the success of the school, and each is expected to lead by example, utilize one’s own personal strengths, and inspire others into action, in order to make the KU School of Medicine a premier center for community-focused medical education.
