Several sessions of Issues in Medicine are dedicated to preparing for residency choice. The topics include work force issues, current trends in the practice of medicine, and panel discussions with current residents in various fields and fourth year medical students who have just completed interviews and "The Match". Objectives are to provide students with information that will help in specialty selection, opportunities to discuss specialty decision-making processes with peers, and resources to assist students in an informed career choice.
